I just used the chat room a few times, it is fun once you get the hang of it. LOL= "laugh out loud" or "lots of laughs". when you see that it's because someone made someone else crack up laughing. How do you know when someone talks to you? that can be tricky, usually someone will address you for example, "hi DL" or "hi starkey" or some variation of your username/whole username. Sometimes it's best to just log on, wait and watch the conversation and then jump in. When you watch a conversation unfurl, it doesn't seem overwhelming. It's really like how a bunch of people standing in a room would talk. sometimes 2 or 3 people pair off and have a conversation about one topic; and sometimes all the people make comments, and sometimes a person won't say much at all. hope that helps a bit? pamela
