I can't think in my classroom... Help?!

Sun, 11/27/2016 - 18:15
Hello! I'm still fairly new to my brain not working properly, and I'm suffering from what is suspected to be some kind of simple partial seizure or constant aura before complex partials (getting into good hospitals for a set diagnosis is a waiting game around here). With medication the frequency has definitely gone down, but I am a college student and there is something in one of my classrooms (I'm 80% sure it's the lights) that is a trigger and I have issues all class period long. Thankfully I am usually the only one who notices, but one of my main symptoms is that I can not put thoughts together, formulate sentences, or remember information. As a student, you can see how this is a problem for me. I'm wondering if anyone has had anything similar to this that has any advice on how they coped with being in certain rooms?
