Had first seizure

Fri, 07/22/2016 - 05:59
Hello.. My name is Ashish and I am from India. 10 days ago, I was admitted in hospital to treat Dengue. I was in hospital for 3 days. After discharge, I was recovering well but i hardly took any rest. 4 days ago, I went to trek where I had a seizure which lasted for 5-7 min. I recovered very immidietly from seizure and walked for around 2-3 km after seizure. There was no headache, pain or i wasn't tired at all... Our family doc. said it was due to weakness of Dengue and I also read on internet that sometimes seizures are common in recovery phase of dengue. Still I am very worried about it. I have no history of seizures in my life. This was very first. Whenever I think about it, I get anxious. My question is, Was it totally because of Dengue weakness?? Do i need to go for EEG?? Please reply.. Thank you.
