Hi wifey, I'm sorry to hear that your husband had a couple of sz. it's hard to deal with when you've never had the problem before. I've had E. for 44 yrs. and when I first got it I found it hard to accept. Often tests will come back like an e.e.g. that looks normal and that's because damage is to deep in the brain for a test to show any problems. My advice to you and your husband is to see an Epileptologist at an Epilepsy Center. If your husbands family Dr. will refer him to an Epileptologist the Dr. can do a lot more detailed tests to find out what's going on. In the meantime tell your husband to take vitamin B12 1000 mcg. once a day and cut back on the starch and carbs. Also stay away from anything with NutraSweet (aspartame) in it because it's been proven that NutraSweet can cause more electrical activity in the brain and trigger sz. for many people. I found this out after drinking diet soda and having many sz. I wish you and your husband only the best of luck and May God Bless the Both of You! Sue
