Can I leave my dad alone in a house

Mon, 01/23/2017 - 00:11
I am new here. I am really worried about my dad. My mom passed away recently and my dad was living alone in a house. Last day his neighbors took him to the hospital when they have seen him unconscious. The doctor made a detailed diagnosis and told that he had epilepsy after a stroke. Really that was shocking, they called me and I took him to our home. But I and my husband have to go to work and really know confused what to do with my dad. My workplace is close to my house, it only takes 10 minutes driving. Can I leave him alone in my house? We don't have enough budget to keep a caregiver. I thought to install a residential security alarm that I could reach to him within minutes. Are there any alternative solutions for this? I am looking for your suggestions.
