BEST Meds

Hi all, first time using this site. i suffer from epilepsy since the age of nine when i got a fall. since then i have had seizures every now and then but from about the age of twenty they have become more frequent. At present i am on both Epilim and Lamictal - can somebody out there recomend something better

Leon, I am not recomending, but I can write that the drugs Neurotin and Felbatol have done a good job. Since I have been on those two drugs my seizure have taken a different path. For the last 5 years I've had nocturnal seizures. I would much rather have my seizures in my sleep this way I don't have a headache for 2 days. Good Luck, E_Loner

It would be hard to recommend a certain drug. For we are all different. We have different reactions with the meds. But I can say, if you need to change meds, pick one that is the one of the newer drugs. You will have less side effects with the newer drugs. They are just easier to tolerate in my opinion.
