Advice

Hi, I am new. I have had temporal lobe epilepsy for 38 years. It is hormonal. I have not had a seizure for 2 years but since I hit menopause seizures haven't been too often but every month I do have 2 - 3 days of huge energy loss and my husband says my mood is 'dark'. Any ideas ? I also posted on Chat - not sure how this works. Last visit with Neurologist was 1 year ago and he said my symptoms were imagined. I have since moved and since my records have not been forwarded yet my GP wants me to see a neurologist here. I do not for one second believe it is imagined. When I was first put on medication - was able to control all seizures except one a month. Any thoughts?

Well if you moved and are in another town then yes have your GP refer you to a neurologist that specializes in epilepsy. You will probably need to see one in order to get meds sometime anyway
