If a medication does not work why not get rid of it before adding a new one. >>> Do people wearing glassed]s get the same script??What has heloed me is asking questions to the doctor. Fo every question he has I have at least one if not two. By doing that they know I wasnt reslts an they tell me more ebout th new medicatiom. " Is this medicayion better for my type of seizure?  "How long does it take to build uo levels in my body???? You see medications for epilepsy are not a one time fits all medication like an asperin.

Thinking of New Epilepsy

Thinking of New Epilepsy medications that the Doctors want to try you on.  PLEASE BE CAREFUL !I have just recently gone through 2 new medication try outs since Spring 2015.  THE SIDE EFFECTS MIGHT CAUSE MORE PROBLEMS FOR YOU THAN THE MEDICINE.  I TRIED***FYCOMPA***.  It made me very tired and sleepy, and my Balance was off quite a bit.  Especially I could not walk far outside by myself and feel secure.  It really irritated my family because I was always falling asleep in a chair.  When I was on 4mg. to start I felt ok, a seizure or 2 per week.  But then as Doctor increased my dose to 6mg, then to 8mg. After several seizures.  When I was increased to 10mg. That was the limit.  As my seizures started changing to frontward drop seizures, and I was always tired.  It reminded me of when I was in JR. High. When I was on (Phenobarbital), same type of side effect.  I was inpatient in July 2015 to be checked out and take the FYCOMPA off my medicine list.                   ***SIDE EFFECT ***Very similar effect when taking APTIOM.  *****SIDE EFFECT***** Balance off, unsteady, and also Unsteadyness of hands.  I was told my personality was more nervous and I could sense that too.****I've had seizures since age 12, found out I was diagnosed with Tuberous Sclerosis earlier' (but because of Family tough times with mom and dad ,I WASN't told I have TS Until my first sons Doctor told me when my First son was born,
