Wean off Keppra symptoms

Thu, 01/05/2017 - 01:46
Hi, I have been on Tegretol CR for most of my life as the doctors diagnosed me with focal epilepsy after one seizure as a child. Since then I was on Tegretol and four years ago I had six seizures in 6 months something that had never happened before. Keppra was added as an additional med. But after 6 months I had my first seizure in a while and after a year things went south. Palpitations, anxiety from another planet and panic attacks on a daily basis. From time to time I had seizures which became more frequent. At the end finally the doctor decided to stop it gradually and ad Lamictal. I am on 400gr Tegretol twice a day and 50gr of Lamictal twice a day. It's been 6 weeks since I stopped Keppra and I still get palpitations (more rare of course now) and anxiety, as well as strong headaches, a pain in my left ear, and weird feelings on my right side.Does anyone else have the same symptoms? Thanks
