Phenobarbital issues after 25 plus years

Sun, 07/19/2015 - 21:58

.hi. This is my first time posting here. I have been taking phenobarbital for over 25 years and have been seizure free on a very low dosage. My blood level never really goes about 17. I am now having lots of joint pain. Neuromas in bottom of both feet. Flu like symptoms are increasing. And I personally feel that the phenobarbital is causing these. Issues. I have been doing some research and there is not much out there in terms of information. Why? Seems that people don't stay on this medication for this long.

Has anyone else had these issues ? Any treatment or wY of life change that can help. Basically I think the phenobarbital has put ,y body into some type of auto immune response such as lupus.
