oxcarbazapine

Daughter just diagnosed with e, and given oxcarbazepine. she's been on it just a week, noticed today small red rash on stomach and lower back. is this a reaction?

It could be one of the side effects .You might call the neurologist and ask about it. Generally if a person gets one in the first few weeks they can go away. If it is there or expands then yes call the neurologists. They may want to see here and make changes to the dosage or the medication  Any and all medications have their side effects.
