New to Epilepsy-Keppra

Mon, 03/21/2016 - 11:23
Hi, I recently was diagnosed and started taking Keppra. I'm having some side effects and I was hoping if someone could help me and tell me if what I'm experiencing is "normal" side effects. The most recent one I started having is my leg starts twitching in the middle of the night. Does anyone experience something similar? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Better than pharmaceuticals?

Better than pharmaceuticals? Not for me! Do you actually think a drug which Has been proven effective and studied in depth for its method of action is not 'as good' as one which Hasn't?  I tried this CBD oil and got no results at all and I would never tell anyone to not take a drug which is helping their epilepsy.  The fact is this CPD is a Drug also and of course will have the same varied effects as others. It is the new rage and is being studied now and will help some- just like any.other drug-but not all. And it will have side effects also, Read up on this more and you will understand. To blatantly say it is a better way just because it is new is misleading. Some of us do need a different treatment.
