Keppra and weight gain

In the last 6 months I have put on another 15 pounds. That may not sound like much to you, but it's much to me. I'm now 150 pounds and my clothes don't fit properly.
I'm trying so hard to stay fit and I'm failing.
Did your medication make you gain weight?

Hiya again.. I've only just read this comment of yours, & I'm not sure I can think of anything that's good about Keppra! I didn't have a problem myself with weight gain on it.. However, I was on a drug called 'Lamictal' a few years ago, & that really made me put the weight on.

Hello, this is first time to register a comment. Yes, I too believe that Keppra has caused me to gain wait. I had lost 30 pounds before going on it for migraines. Keppra has helped my migraines but I have gained the weight back after all my hard work. So the next time I go to my doctor I am going to ask to try something different. I too was wondering if anyone else had trouble with it.
