Felbatol

Tue, 07/11/2006 - 20:36
Hi, I'm new to the forum. My 7 year old son is disabled and has been on seizure meds since he was 2. Currently he is on Zonegran and Keppra. He has been having atypical absence seizures practically everyday now for 4 - 6 months. Neuro wants to add Felbatol. This scares me. Can anyone make me feel better about putting my son on a potentially fatal drug. HELP Gloria

Hi, I have been on Felbatol since Nov of '93. The only thingyou need to watch is his liver, which will be blood tested every so often. I recommend it all the time. Emmy
