Can Lamictal tablets be broken in half???

Thu, 06/15/2006 - 16:11
I am in the process of titrating up on Lamictal, and have four more days of 50mg. However, when trying to open the package, I somehow managed to drop the last four days worth into the toilet. I know the water probably didn't get into them, but I would rather not chance it. I probably wouldn't be able to choke them down if I thought about it. Anyway, I have tons of 100 mg tabs (a whole bottle). Can I just break them in half, or do they have to be taken whole or something? THANK YOU SO MUCH IN ADVANCE! Stacie
