Tonic Clonic Seizures

Mon, 03/09/2015 - 12:10

I am nearly 17, and i have been on 2 different medications for the epileptic fits/sezires. (Keppra and Valpro) I was diagnosed at Christmas, 2014 and it is suspected that i have had epilepsy since i was born. However, instead of growing out of it, it got worse. I have blank absence seizures, tonic clonic seizures, focal seizures and complex partial seizures. Yesturday i had a massive TC seizure and they called an ambulance as it lasted over 10 minutes and i was unconsious and unresponsive. I had an MRI early this year and they found a mass on my brain, but tagged it 'not of clincal concern'.  I wanted to know if my medication would be changed again? I am in the middle phase of changing from Keppra to Valpro. Also, there are concerns about the sezures. I am at boarding college and it happened in my room where i was found having a TC. I am now consious of it happening again.
