tongue piercings...

hey, i'm rachel, i'm 18 and i have seizures roughly every 3 months or so.
i was interested in getting a tongue piercing but was wondering if it might, y'know, like kill me during a seizure. like could the bar choke me or come undone?
i'm not too worried about tongue biting, i've never really done that.
any help would be greatly appreciated :)

Hiiii! My names Millie, I suffer idiopathic generalised epilepsy, I’m just asking for advice on getting a tongue piercing, I’ve always wanted one but my parents won’t let me. I’ve got medication for my epilepsy. But I haven’t had a fit in a while so I want some advice please. Very much appreciated!

Hi im 20 with JME and have both lip and tongue piercings. They heal quickly but they could knock against you teeth and if you bite your tongue during the seizure it can become swollen. Just have a decently sized barbell. You should be fine
