New to epilepsy.

Hey, my name is Emi I'm 15 and about 3 years ago i had my first fit. I have had about 7 since then, and would like to talk to other teens about how they cope with it. I dont know no-one at the moment with epilepsy who i can talk to....and that is why i am here. :/ I get so frustrated with adults always watching me, and it makes me feel like i have no independence. I am really confused with how to handle it and anyone i talk to about it doesnt help because they have no idea how i feel...... does anyone no what im talking about??? Thanks for you time, Emi x

Yes.  I am 14, and have about 30 seizures or more sometimes in a day.  It's hard.  I lived with it all my life, so I really know no different.  I am approaching driving age, and I may not ever get a chance to drive.  My brother is telling people that I won't even get my Permit.  That hurts sometimes.  I know exactly what you're going through.  I hope you find a good doctor, and find some good medicine to take.  What kind of Epilepsy do you have?
