Myoclonic seizures & now excessive eye blinking

Tue, 10/04/2016 - 16:25
My 2.5 yo daughter was diagnosed with epilepsy in February 2016. We have done a lot of testing this year (MRI's, EEG, EMU's, LP, eye test, EKG, and genetic testing) and are still nowhere closer to finding out what is causing her epilepsy. She is currently on Onfi and Zonegran, but is still experiencing a few seizures a day. Two days ago, out of the blue, she started blinking excessively and really hard. She has never done this before but is now doing about 8-10 blinks in a row a few times an hour. Her vision test was about 6 months ago and everything check out fine. She is not photosensitive either, we did that test at our last EMU two weeks ago. Anyone have any experience with this? We are still waiting to hear back from our Epileptologist.

Call the Epileptologist and talk to them or their assistant and ask for assistance sine it is changed from where it was at her last visit. Medication dosages adjustments can be started and a visit can be made during that can and if they are then keep track of the number of her seizures
