LKS and some questions :)

It's been a while since I posted! My daughter Porcelain (6) was recently diagnosed with Landau-Kleffner and has been on Depakote for the last 2 months. Her dosage got lowered and the seizures started changing and was having more drops. So that was put back to where it was and she's getting better, though now her neuro wants to start her on Lamictal too. Now, here's where my question is.. :) About a year before the seizures started we had her on digestive enzymes because it seemed like she would break out and get spacy from dairy and glueten. When we took her off the enzymes is when the seizures started picking up a LOT! I've looked online and it doesn't seem like there's any side effects between her meds and enzymes, so can I just start her back on them or is that something I should bring up with the neuro first?! The other thing I stumbled on is there's actually enzyme producing AED's. So I definately want to bring that up as well. Has anyone heard of digestion or food allergies being the cause of seizures?! Thanks and have a great weekend!! Andrea
