you did not post the side effects you had. As for talking in ones sleep I know many people who don't take any meds that talk in their sleep. Did you wake yourself up talking to yourself. Now as for generics I have taken many different generics and yes several were for zonisamide. They all worked for me. I am currently on keppra which I use a generic for. I also thought one of the generics had caused a problem and I did research on all the diferent generics I had used. Only to find out that the issue was not the generic. Mt seizures had increased because I needed another medication coupled with my keppra. Doc and I coupled vimpat with it and my seizure count went back down. Now other side effects. How long have you used those medications together ?? If it has been longer then a month then side effects are not the tissue. Generally side effects are gone after the body gets used to the medication. If they don't then it could be the medication or combination. Now as for adding an additional pill at night it has been done many different times for a lot of people. I was doing it and yes I got better sleep and had fewer issues to deal with

That was the side effect I had with different brands of generic talking in sleep having full conv and not remember none of it it was only one brand of generic that caused issues side effects the other brands work decent I take 300 mg carbatrol twice day and 100 mg zonisamide twice day doctor said to increase carbatrol to 600 mg night but I've been on different brand of zinisamide and feel great going to go to brand name to avoid generics side effects I believe the issue us more on zonisamide generics than carbatrol because it only happens when pharmacy mixes zonisamide with different brands
