work....

I suffered siezures as a child but as I entered my teenage years the symptoms decreased in severity.I was relatively siezure free until I entered my late 20's(I'm now 38).I am currently on Keppra and it has managed to control my symptoms(at least for now)but the side effects are horrible.I am told they may subside after the first few weeks to months.I am missing decades of my life(memories)that I wish I could get back.My mother suffered terribly from E and the course of her affliction is identical to mine. She eventually lost her mind. This worries me,of course. With all this said,I have a couple of questions. I am finding it ever increasingly difficult to perform my job.I have worked at the same place for many years so I can take certain liberties but they can only overlook so much.If I was forced to quit this job,is disability insurance available on these grounds and if so can I get assistance paying for meds seeing as my health insurance through work will be cancelled? Does this sound familiar to anyone else? Thanks.

yeah I would swallow a handfull of pills at 4:30 am then go back to sleep and the alarm would wake me at 6:00 and I would arise bright-eyed and bushy tailed for another happy day at work in the pressroom.Itook them at 430 so they had time to kick in and start working otherwise I might have (no I guess I would have) had a siezure ( no, I guess I mean I would have had more seizures than I did have) anyway it was a bitch. Once I fell into a paint machine at work.
