Waking up alone

Mon, 05/01/2017 - 23:53
Hey everyone- I'm new here, yet not knew to the feeling of waking up on the ground to a stranger patting your backing saying, " you had a seizure, you're going to be ok". The problem is, I really do not know if I am. Medical examiners have inquired about an aura? I do not have any of those, no smells, no feelings. All I know is one moment I am driving my car, taking a shower, at the gym- you name it. Then boom! Faceplant. What truly me is that several months after my first seizure 5 years ago, my twin had her first. I thought I had to carry tthe medical burden. But no- she carries the same. We have the same kind. No aura, and no funky after smells. Just waking up alone. My body recovers from the seizure, picks itself up, and hhen goes about it's day again. If their weren't witnesses, I would not know I had a seizure. Well- witnesses and the wiplash with occasional harm I involuntarily inflict on myself during the seizure; tongue biting, scatching, bruising from arming flaring, concussions, eggs on my head. Even though I wake up with people next to me, most likely they do not have seizures and they may not understand. I feel alone, I live in fear a seizure could happen anytime. If anyone has any advice, please, reach out. Thank you Tha
