I'm sorry to say this, but I've read somewhere that if you have Seizures after the age of 9, they're likely to not go away but I also have good news, Petit Mal/Absence Seizures do not affect the brain (Memory and thinking wise) you shouldn't think you're getting dumber or you're memory is getting worse don't panic, have an EEG, wait for the results, you may not be epileptic and these seizures may go away I can't say, I've had all the symptoms you have, but do you often find yourself walking around while you have one? walking and wondering where youre going?
