Seizure and Blood Pressure
Tue, 05/31/2016 - 19:48Just wondering, has anybody during (not post-ictal) tonic-clonic seizure had their blood pressure taken? I am interested to know whether if seizure affects your blood pressure or not.

I don't know whether it does or not but good to check.check blood sugar level too while they're at it.my doc did discovered its a trigger1 more reson gotta eat right .

Can a person diagnosed with high blood pressure going through severe alcohol withdrawal have a seizure and cause a blood clot move into their lungs. If so, why?
During a grand mal seizure it

During a grand mal seizure it would not be wise to take a persons blood pressure. It is better to put something under their head or protect them in anyway possible. I have had seizures that were convulsive. I knew my blood pressure went up and my breathing could go either way up or down.Seizures can affect almost everything on your body. Be it your eyes or ears hands you name it.
