Seizure after sleep- photosensitive

Wed, 06/08/2016 - 00:20
Hi everyone! I have photosensitive epilepsy. I've only had a few seizures in my life, as I've learned to avoid my triggers for the most part. I always have problems in Wal-Mart and have to keep my visits very brief, and frequently close an eye or wear dark sunglasses to help a little. Tonight I walked out of Wal-Mart mid-shopping, leaving the boyfriend to finish up because I was feeling really sick. When this happens, I usually go home and immediately go straight to bed. Tonight I was feeling extra bad from several days of sleep deprivation. I went to bed and woke up less than an hour later feeling awful. Headache, nausea, just that awful post-ictal feeling that is unlike anything else. I'm wondering if I could've had a seizure after I went to bed feeling sick from being exposed to my triggers. I'm also wondering if going home and going to sleep when I'm feeling ill from triggers is the right thing to do? I don't know anyone else who has this to ask.
