right temporal lobe surgery
Thu, 04/09/2015 - 00:32How's it going, I got 1 more test to finish until I can hopefully be good to go for surgery at UC san diego An was wondering if anybody has had any sort of mesial right temporal lobe surgery, your experience with it, hopefully the benefits tht came from your surgery or any changes positive or negative. Any info would be appreciated

Jimmie, I have had 2 very close friends go through with the surgery. The speech impairment is just a slight problem with them now. One lady "might" not remember all of her vocabulary but otherwise she is doing very well. She is even able to drive now. The second person went through a bit of a cognitive impairment but this was just temporary. She is also doing very well after the surgery.Wishing you the best Jimmie.
