I have noiticed that sometimes i wake up I wake up and i have drooled all over my pillow most of the time it is just a short nap . I know i have been under a lot of stress loosing my boyfriend a yr ago today surgery and finding out my daughter also has elpilepsy. I know that there are several ways to know that you are having a seziure auro.But can you shed some light on this . April

I really don't know anything about the drooling, I can't say that I have ever had anything like that. But, I'm so sorry to hear about all of your hardships. I wish you the best of luck. If you just need to talk to someone, just let me know :) Kayla

Drooling on your pillow is not a symptom of epilepsy. You don't swallow when you sleep so although you actually salivate less when you sleep than when you are awake, if you sleep with your mouth open at all, it'll appear that you have had excessive salivating during your sleep. So don't worry yet! :)

Hi April, My daughter has tonic clonic seizures in her sleep. Usually, she drools heavily at the end of them. However, there are usually other signs, such as soreness of her muscles, pillows on floor, etc., that lead her to the determination she has had a seizure. Are you having any other symptoms?
