Please help me?

Hello, my name is Kate. I have been to Doctor visit, to Doctor visit, even went to see a Neurologist today for the second time, and I'm not getting any help whatsoever and I'm getting extremely frustrated.

It all started on July 22nd. I work as a cashier at a grocery store. I was working an 11-7 shift that day. When I woke up, I didn't feel right. It was around 12:30pm and I started to get a numbness travelling up my left arm. I was really quiet all day, acting odd. I felt like I was still asleep. At around 1:30, I started to get a throbbing pain in my neck, on the left side. The numbness continued up my arm. My heart started to beat quickly and palpitate around 2pm. It was painful. It stopped, and then returned around 5:45pm. This time it was much worse, I was afraid I was having a heart attack. I went down to the Hospital around 6:20pm. I was in the waiting room, and as they called me to see a Doctor I stood up. As I was standing, I felt this wave go over me, and I couldn't see, I couldn't hear. I slumped back down into my chair and started shaking, convulsing. I drooled a bit, and my body was rigid. I had to be put in a wheel chair and I was wheeled in to see a Doctor. This episode happened a second time while I was being talked to. After it happened I couldn't speak, I kept slurring. I was asked the date, I didn't know. I was asked my name, I didn't know. I was asked my date of birth, I didn't know. I was really confused. The slurring kept on for a good 30 minutes. I was tested for a heart attack, and that came back clear. They gave me some Lorazepam because they figured I was having a panic attack. As I stood to be able to leave, I couldn't walk. My legs were like pudding, like there were no bones. I was dragging my feet as i walked. This continued for about a week after.

I had an appointment to see my family Doctor a few days after, and they assumed it was a panic attack so gave me Clonazepam and Prozac. The Clonazepam calmed me down a bit, and seemed to do the trick. I kept feeling this rapid heartbeat, and if I didn't take a pill my body would start to shake. I had to be medicated at all times seemingly. The Prozac was taken for only a week, because I was allergic to the drug and it made me feel suicidal.

The then prescribed me Cipralex, and it did the same thing, made me feel suicidal. The Doctors told me then, they'd wait and see what was going on before they gave me a different anti-depressant but they continued to give me the Clonazepam.

August 20, I had an MRI. It came back normal, just a few spots showed up but according to the Neurologist the test came back normal. The same symptoms continued on for a while, but as time went on I had more of these spells.

I took note of the fact that flickering/flashing lights seem to bring on issues. I was in a store that had a light going out, one of the fluorescents, and I almost fell to the floor. I immediately got shaky, and my jaw started to shake. I got a pressure in my head by my temples and my vision blurred. This is what happens every time this sort of thing happens. These attacks that the Doctors are calling panic attacks, always start out with shaking hands, pressure in my head, blurred vision and a chattering or shaking jaw. I had another incident occur from an ambulance passing me at night. I almost fell to the ground and these same symptoms occurred.

November 13 rolled by, and I had an EEG. I had a seizure while the EEG was performed. I was told that I was just shaking because I had anxiety from the flashing lights. This really confuses me, really. The EEG apparently looked normal. They said some white spots showed on my brain, but again the Neurologist, two of them, said it was normal. This seizure I had was bad. I was shaking so badly that I was jerking on the table and I couldn't walk after. My left eye was twitching and the entire left side of my face was twitching and jerking. I also felt the skin on my body in certain areas was crawling. Even my scalp was twitching. I was slurring again, and had to take 4 Clonazepam pills to try and calm it, it did nothing. The day after this episode, my muscles in my stomach hurt so bad it felt like I did 1000 situps. My legs hurt so bad all of my muscles were killing me. I couldn't walk and I was dragging my feet again. On the way home from the EEG, I fell asleep. I was so tired after. So tired.

I have recently had more seizures. Around Christmas, I had a seizure from flickering Christmas tree lights. I went home after seeing it, and a few hours later, my eye started to twitch, and the entire left side of my face. Then my body started convulsing again.

I had another seizure on the 31 of December. A snow plow went by my house, and the flashing lights shone through into the house. My eye started to twitch, and I knew it was coming so I took a lie down on the floor. I was shaking again, my body jerking. I was tired after and felt like I could just fall asleep there on the floor.

Today I went to see a Neurologist. He told me my MRI and EEG were normal and I wasn't having seizures. He rushed me out of the office, like he did the first time. Didn't help me at all. Just told me I was fine.

My Doctor isn't much help either. She just keeps trying to say this is a panic attack issue, but I really don't think it is. I think I'm having seizures and NO ONE is listening to me. I can't buy the fact that I was just having anxiety from flashing lights, it makes no sense.

I haven't been able to work since July 22 because of this, and I'm really stressed out because no one is helping me. I feel like they are just giving me medication that will do nothing. Please help me? Does this sound like epilepsy to you? Thank you so much!
