You ,ight call the 24/7 help line the number is 1-800-332-1000Some of the topics our information specialists respond to most often include: •Current treatment and alternative therapies options •Available medications •Support groups •Seizure first aid and safety issues •Employment and discrimination issues •Emotional issues •Getting connected with local Epilepsy Foundation affiliates •Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy (SUDEP) •Requests for print materials As for disability the HHS offices often refuse the first 1-3 tries to get relief each time you fill out the forms. I knew it would be refused so I called Binder & Binder. I was on disability in about 3 months and less then 6 months later I was on medicare. I hope this helps and you get the assistance you need Joe

If all else fails you might want to look into applying for SSDI. Social Security Disability Insurance. A person cannot live or support a family without money. Try to look towards the future and if you do need to re-train for a position let the Voc. Rehab. Counselors guide you.
