Looking for people with partial ecstatic seizures
Sat, 11/07/2015 - 13:24I also have ecstatic partial seizures. I had several over a period of five days while in Vegas for a convention recently. The wonderful feelings and experiences are quickly followed by intense fear and depression. I was originally diagnosed 25 years ago and then again in 2010. I decided to write about my seizures and discuss them in a book I wrote about my Vegas trip. I'm looking for a couple of people who have these kind of seizures to ask them to read a couple of chapters of my book and tell me if what I describe is familiar. Please let me know. The book also compares and contrasts my seizures with the Near Death Experience I had 28 years ago. Yes, finding a good neurologist is difficult. They all think they know everything when they are just out of school.

I had been diagnosed with seizures when 1 was 8 years old 38 years ago. I have partial seizures once in awhile. It happens around April and October during weather change and at times during deep stress.
