Living with Epilepsy

Does anyone's simple partial seizures start with an anxious feeling, then move to racing heart, then tongue sticks to the roof of your mouth and then you produce a vocalization of "aaahhhh.?" My son has these episodes every two weeks, lasting about two days, in which he has 3-6 episodes. He doesn't think it's panic. His neuro doesn't know what it is because it hasn't been captured on an eeg. Anyone have these symptoms? Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

It couls be a seizure Uns=derstand too that +many people have normal EEG's and still have seizures. Unless his neurologist is a specialist in epilepsy then he might not know much about epilepsy the types of epilepsy and kind of seizures. Also I had 15-20 eeg's before one ever had any seizure activity show up. That EEG was one which I fell asleep in. There are many kinds of seizures and each persons seizure is different from other peoples seizures even if they have the same type of epilepsy and the same kind of seizure. Call his neurologiost and discuss this issue with him and ask him if he specializes in epilepsy. If he doesn't then ask him to refer you to a specialist. I hope this helps and you get assistance needed for him Joe
