Let's do something for Thanksgiving..

Tue, 11/21/2006 - 00:39
Everyone has had so many issues throughout the year, I'll be the first to admit that when the stress is low, the frustrations still seem to push everything to the wayside. I wanted to start a little chain of thankful blessings that perhaps each of us would like to share with one another. I'll go first... I'm thankful for having everyone here as my support; it's wonderful to have this source of information. I'm thankful for the silly little things in life even if they are my own doing; laughter is the best medicine. I'm thankful for friends and family; without them I would be nothing. I'm thankful for knowing it's okay to scream and not feel guilty after doing it. Most importantly I'm thankful for strength that my loving husband gives to me so I can make through the hard days when I feel like giving up. Anyone else care to share?

I think this is a great idea. I am thankful for the support and information I receive here as well. I am thankful for the ability to stand up to doctors who are not helping me, and for having enough sense to seek out doctors who will. I am thankful for the support I have in my personal life. I am thankful for the support I have professionally that has allowed me to continue working. I am thankful that I have been able to see the last year and a half as a learning experience, even if it doesn't always feel like it. Lastly, I am thankful that suebear gave us an opportunity to step back and think about what we have! Happy Thanksgiving.

I am thankful for my family for always supporting me despite whatever else is going on in their lives. I am thankful for friends who don't give up on me and walk out of my life. I am thankful for my nephew who thinks only of me as "Auntie G" and not someone who is ill or odd. I am thankful for second chances that never end. I am thankful for intelligent and educated people who come on here to give empathy and share their knowledge.
