Just an update and an ask for a prayer for my family

Hi Everyone just took a few minutes to say hi and update everyone on what is taking place here. Well since I last wrote things have changed a tad bit. LOL Don't they always. Well my sister hasn't managed to get her stuff moved out of her apartment because either she is to lazy or she is to interested in having fun in life rather then doing what she is suppose to do as far as work. Her and I had words they other day about her taking my two teenage boys and getting her stuff out of the apartment and bringing it down to the house in one day but she said that she couldn't do that because she was no way ready for that. Yet she didn't bother to go up and work on it rather she went to the lake with her boyfriend or she would hang around in town at the house with me. Which don't get me wrong I really loved having her around but it is starting to piss me off that she isn't doing what she is suppose to be doing. So finally her and I had a falling out about her not getting her apartment cleaned out because we had her packed and ready to move in a day when she was in Portland. But she claimed her stuff was already in boxes but it wasn't. I wasn't going to get into it with her. So needless to say she did take the boys the next day and brought her boys beds and TV and their games down and that was about it. Then the next two days she went out to her boyfriends. Well my husband and I thought we were actually going to have a night all to ourselves with no sister and no kids and without a doubt we got a call from the nursing home and they were sending my husbands mom to the hospital. So off we went to the hospital to see what was going on with her. They diagnosed her with pneumonia and congestive heart failure and admitted her. They treated her for a while but she needed to have her pacemaker replaced so they sent her through to Bangor. So needless to say my husband and I have finally gotten our time alone but it is in a motel room trying to get some sleep before we have to go to the hospital while his mom has surgery. I am a little nervous about her going into surgery because she has so many problems that I am afraid that something will happen to her. So please send your prayers for her. Thanks.

Thanks for dropping in and updating us on how things are with you. I'm so sorry you are going thru this, and send prayers the situation eases and you and your husband get some well earned rest by the sound of it you have both been craving for. I'm sorry to find that you had to resort to a motel for a night to yourselves and hope that didn't cause an upsurge in seizures. I guess that any port in a storm is better than none, so at the very least you might get some peace and quiet away from the kids? What is even better is having relatives willing to take their share of the load and help out when things get rough? It helps-that's for sure, and comforting to know they are trying to be part of the solution to a problem and understand how difficult it can be. For it can as you have commented when you have family ties that include the things such as kids being around and being nervous about things such as surgery, or moving away and that taking time to do? That's why I love this forum, the posters using it, and the thread for friends and families? I think, and hope they find it really comforting for relatives who can come and post their concerns knowing people will try and understand, or offer a friendly ear to listen? Hang in there, stay positive and upbeat-it helps and please keep us all updated on how things go.… Cat. "Many false prophets are gone out into the world." 1 John 4:1
