An Introduction

Hello there everyone- This is my first posting in this forum, glad to have found it. A little about me... I first started having seizures in my early 20's and wasnt diagnosed officially until I was 25. I had a brain tumor removed (that was causing my seizures) 4 years ago and haven't had a seizure since (well at least not officially). Unfortunately in the last few months I have been having those "weird feelings" again- I'm pretty positive that they are in fact simple partial seizures returning (I had simple and complex partial seizures before with one grand mal). I've been putting off going to the neurologist as long as possible because I know it will mean a round of expensive tests (EEG's, MRI's etc)and also because I don't want to be too paranoid and jump the gun so to speak. has anyone here had epilepsy surgery to have the seizures return? From what I've heard (on another site) it's not all that uncommon and they can present in any manner... The whole idea is a bit distressing and I'm finding that no one in my family (particularly my husband) wants to entertain the idea that this may really be happening. What to do? stef
