I don't know if I have epilepsy or not

Hey everyone, I'm going to see a doctor soon but I was hoping to get some advice from others as well.

I'm 28, male, and had my first seizure two months ago (was alone and didn't know I had one) and another one just a few days ago. Luckily my friend was with me, because I didn't believe him at first, and I took a trip to the ER. Brain scan was clear. The doctor recommended a neurologist, but he won't see me because I'm new to the state and don't have a regular doctor here to recommend me to him (recommendation from the ER doc wasn't good enough I guess).

Here is what I'm thinking, and hoping: long story short I've struggled with opiate addiction since I was a teenager, and a few years ago I discovered kratom, a cheap and legal herb that works similar to opioids, binding to the same receptors. That alone probably wouldn't cause this, but I've become very malnourished over the past few years, simple because I like to take it on an empty stomach for best results. So I've basically been starving myself for a few years in the day time, and when I've reached my desired plateau I'll eat a big meal and go to sleep. I know I'm malnourished, does that sound like it could be the sole cause? And maybe as I start taking better care of myself, I won't have them anymore at all, I hope.

I've also had trouble sleeping lately due to strong myoclonic jerks in my whole upper body preventing me from falling asleep at all.
