How long can someone go and not take Lamotrigine get out of your system to have a seizure? An example would be, that they forgot to take it or couldn't get anymore for a few days?

It all depends on the dose.

It all depends on the dose. Each dose is feeding the theraputic levels in your body. It takes weeks to get to the threraputic levels the neurologst wants. I have forgoten a dosa with some medications and it never bothered me. With others I could have a seizure in a few hours. Which is why I learned to take my meds correctly. If 2 times a day that means 12 hours apart and not 7am and 10 pm. That 3 hour delay can cause a breakthru seizure.

I went into the hospital for

I went into the hospital for a SPECT scan and they backed my lamotrogine off by 1/2 and my topiromate by 100 mg in 12 hrs. I gave them 4 grand mal seizures within 3 hrs! I usually, if any, have focal or partial-complex. I remember nothing about that time period.
