Help with a university project involving epilepsy

Sat, 11/22/2014 - 09:11

Hello I have a university project to create an innovative product, so I chose to make a product that can help people with epilepsy like me.

So the idea was to create a small rounded tool (the size of a watch), which you can wear or put it in your pocket.

The tool can detect any sudden movements or falls (which may mean a seizure) and send a message to an app on your smartphone. If you didn't respond in a certain time it will send a message to the contacts with the location to send help.

The tool retail cost will be from 30 to 50 us dollars.

What are your comments on the product?

Do you have any suggestions for an improvement, or even different idea?

if it is in the market are you willing to buy it? if not why??

It won't help these people, unfortunately :( yes, it will send a message to the app, if the person heard the app and didn't shut it down after a period of time, then it will send a message with location to the contacts.
