living with epilepsy isn't easy for me and it can be hard for others but one thing it can do is add stress and then after more seizures. I haven't had a gran mal in about 6 months but I have all the others even down to clusters every day. I have them every day. My body stays in pain and I stay with headaches. When I divorced my husband he kept both of my children. So yes you can say I have pleanty of issues in my life. I'm on three diffrent antidepressants along with regular meds for my seizures. I can't get my Doctor to understand instead of adding more antidepressants just give me Valuim or something like that. That will relax me calm my nerves. I took it before and it worked.

I am sorry your having a hard time with your seizures I too have small seizures often. I think sometimes Epilepsy and Depression can go hand and hand. But I am not sure Valium would be the answer. Someone the other day on another post gave me a good idea. To get a journal and write at least one positive that happened in your day, if not more. I think there are several different ways to handle depression. Adding more medication probably not helping your seizures. Good Luck with everything ~*Samantha*~
