Feeling "relief" after seizures?

Fri, 12/12/2014 - 01:36
I am a newly diagnosed (not new onset) 43 yoa female with mostly controlled partial-generalized seizures. Apparently, I am aware of the fact I may have a seizure about 2-3 minutes prior because I put myself in a safe place (usually bed), but I do not remember doing so. The postical stage lasts about 20-45 minutes, but after that I begin to feel a huge sense of relief. Physically, I can get a little sore, but my body feels much less tense and my spirits are better. I think this is because there was some kind of a 'build-up' to the seizure, and I felt anxious all day prior. Does anyone else feel this way? Thank you in advance for your replies.
