Epilepsy Project

Mon, 06/13/2016 - 20:59
Hi all, I am a masters student in Journalism and I have a final thesis to do this fall, which is a long-form narrative story. I was diagnosed with epilepsy in 2008 and would love to do something on the topic. It has to be a story, not written like a research paper. I am looking to talk to people who might be willing to share their stories. I am trying to get into a surgery room to see an epilepsy surgery take place and other areas I would like to explore are the discrimination/stima around epilepsy. If anyone is willing to reach out and share a story it would be greaty appreciated. The reason I want to do my final thesis project on this is to in someway make a difference. Our project is written for the intention of being published, which is the ultimate goal. Thanks very much
