My daughter just started having seizures. She loves disney and all the rides. Can anyone tell me if their seizures affect the types of rides they can go on? Thank you

I've been controlled for a long time (20 yrs) and never had a problem with any rides. I would definitely consult with your doctor before booking a trip to a theme park. Is she fully controlled? Has she had any breakthrough seizures while on meds? Also, some parks have regulations regarding medical conditions such as epilepsy and heart conditions, etc. for certain rides. Just make sure it will be safe and enjoyable for everyone in your family. Good luck! I hope you can have fun. I've never been to Disney-hope to take my kids their soon.

thank you for responding. we cancelled our trip since the seizures became worse even with the medication. She is trying new medication now and her doctor says she can go on the rides.
