Hard decisions to make

Sat, 09/07/2013 - 21:16
Hi everyone, My husband is epileptic and is currently hospitalized with his second episode of postictal psychosis. It only began to occur in june. At that time he was hospitalized for a month. His seizures are not well controlled and he has had at least 30 this year. Despite regular medical care, changes to medications and exploring the vns implant, he still suffers. We have an1 year old daughter and I am terrified to have him come home and become psychotic again. It took 3 security guards to subdue him in the hospital and I feel like this is a very dangerous situation. Does anyone else deal with this or have you had to explore alternative housing for a loved one? What did you do? Thanks for listening.
