does my friend have epilepsy?

i am epileptic myself but yesterday when i was talking to my best friend she was just staring at me then her arms started jerking. she dosent remeber anything can this be epilepsy. i do not know as i had a grand mal seizure straight off and i do not know what the other symptoms are i want to give her some advice can anyone help me

Hi Leanne.I'm sorry to hear about your friend and yourself.I'm wondering if you have looked at the links on here ? Or is it possible to get your friend to join you and post as well here. Though you really need to ask her to see either her doc or neuro to make an appt to get herself checked out as you are doing the best you can to help her and in the long run,it's safer for her to be really sure about this if she does do.These couple of links might be helpful to you.
