Severe Pain above left eye w/headache related to ep?

Wed, 04/13/2011 - 09:42

I am a female and 37 yrs old.  I was diagnosed with EP when I was 13 with no history of it in my family.  I have had Grand-Mal seizures all my life  however now I also have Aura Seizures (where I smell funny things that do not exist.)  Most of this has been taken care of with a change in medication, exercise, watching my stress level etc. so I am very blessed that way however I do still have a question.  I am getting a severe sharp pain directly above my left eye same spot everytime!  It will make me squint, close my eye, press my finger into my head anything just to make it go away and advil etc does not seem to help.  I had my eyes checked thinking it was that and my checkup came back 20/20 so my eyes are fine.  Could this be related to Epilepsy or should I be going a totally different direction?  I have no history of migranes in my family but I do have TMJ and I wear a night guard some times but this is not that kind of pain it is WAY different.

Any input is appreciated,
