Brain buzzing and loss of speech - seisures?

Tue, 06/30/2015 - 12:29

Hi - throwing this out there for information. My daughter who is 22 has been having this buzzing in her brain (how she describes it) then immediately looses the ability to speak for a few seconds or it comes out garbled. It last about 10 seconds. She had one episode where her body went limp, her mouth drooped and she lost consciousness for about 20 minutes. Someone said they talked to her and she was answering but seemed bizarrly out of it. Though she has no recollection of those 20 minutes. The brain buzzing and speach loss is happening more frequently now. Does this sound like she is having seisures to you?

These are the usual signals for complex partial epilepsy... Loss of Speech is first... The real signal is loss of consciousness....Loss of consciousness is a MUST for a seizure to be called Complex Partial.
