Alt. meds

What kind of alternative meds are there? I'm interested in seeing what is out there. So whatever anyone is using as a supplement or as a type of medication, I would be really interested in learning about. My boyfriend used to grow herbs but I'm not sure if they would be safe for me to try.

I would talk to your doc first to be safe, but Omega 3 seems to be cropping up a lot. According to some literature I have read, maganese (a mineral) is also something that has helped control epileptic activity.

I've heard about Omega 3s in

I've heard about Omega 3s in fish oil or flax oil. Don't use the flax oil for cooking though. I also use Bach Flower remedies in the form of rescue remedy spray or drops when I feel tense to calm me down. I have heard that Sage can provoke seizures and Saint John's Wort will increase the metabolism of some anticonvulsants, thus causing the meds to leave the body too fast and causing seizures.
