Inspirational Quotes. Plz Add Yours/Help Others

"If you're going through hell, keep on going" - Winston Churchill "...And this too shall pass" -- last line of a well known prayer "...and help me to accept the things I can not change". -- A line from The Serenity Prayer. I think this would be a good thread to keep going. I know others have sayings that keep them going and hope you all will give to others by posting quotes, thoughts, whatever keeps you in the saddle. These are mine. Gretchen

"The key to a happy life is moderation in all things. Too much enthusiasm scares people away. Too little action turns people away. But moderation keeps you balanced, and all those around you." --my mother "You are the master of the unspoken word." -- Swedish proverb (I'm on a roll I think) Gretchen

PS - Spiz I am really struggling today with depression, anger, and I am SICK OF HAVING EPILEPSY. The never to be spoken words of - this ain't fair and why me? Are thrumming through my head. I had a bad asthma attack over the weekend, which probably was what produced a long status seizure. I was intubated during a semi conscious period and it was horrid. I was transfered to a bigger hospital by helicopter, again, but I thought it was a semi trailer with stars in the ceiling. I was tied down and that is a personal fear of mine. I was in ICU and now on two new medications which I'm wondering if they're screwing around with my sanity. I don't "do" medication well yet I know I have to take them. My arms are bruised up and down both sides from what? I don't know. I do know they hurt. Reading what you wrote? Helped me. Thank you. Gretchen

My sister in law sent me some good ones.. Here is one! When the door of happiness closes, another opens; but often times we look so long at the closed door that we don't see the one, which has been opened for us. and Don't go for looks; they can deceive. Don't go for wealth; even that fades away. Go for someone who makes you smile, because it takes only a smile to make a dark day seem bright. Find the one that makes your heart smile. Have a good night!
