Depakote levels

Wed, 01/26/2011 - 20:14

Hello, my daughter just had a depakote level done today and the nurse says the level is undetectable in her system.  My daughter was very upset and insisted she took her meds everyday twice a day.  Anyone have any trouble with depakote levels? Thanks

I am on depakote and from what I know, it's levels can be easily altered with other meds like enzyme inhibitors (like felbamate), they will make your levels lower.
