Nutrition and Epilepsy Lecture

On Tuesday, May 19, 2015, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., FACES and the NYU Comprehensive Epilepsy Center will host the evening's Peace of Mind Lecture - Growing Healthy Eaters: What you Need to Know about Nutrition and Epilepsy - presented by Jackie Ballou MS, RD, CDN

The evening begins at 6:00 p.m. with a pre-lecture social. The lecture will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m. and conclude at 8 p.m.The lecture will take place at the NYU Medical Center, Alumni Hall B, 550 First Avenue, New York, NY 10016.

The lecture will explain, with regard to epilepsy, what foods and how much of them kids need.  Specific nutrients associated with epilepsy will be highlighted.  Practical tips for parents will be disucssed, including how to get your kids to want to eat the foods they need.

Admission is FREE, but capacity is limited so you should RSVP online.

Following the event, a video of this lecture (as well as past lectures in the Peace of Mind series) will be available online on the Peace of Mind page of the FACES website.
